I recently purchased this older fixed blade - obvious Case resemblance. Note the unusual tang stamp KIN-FOE.
I would swear that I saw either a posting or an article on this stamp but I cannot recall where. Can anyone help me out?

Re: KIN-FOE Fixed Blade Knife???
These KIN-FOE marked knives are quite scarce. They were made in the Kinfolks knife factory in Little Valley, N.Y. I have seen about 8 different patterns of fixed blade knives with this tang stamp. I currently own 8 of these KIN-FOE marked knives that represent 6 of the patterns I have seen. The knives are nearly identical to other knives I have seen and owned with Case Tested and Case Bradford tang stamps. Your OP knife is just like the Case Tested Kingfisher fixed blades pattern number 0600F. Both of the KIN-FOE knives I have that are like the OP knife came in plain, undecorated leather sheaths.
Beautiful old green bone handles on your knife Steve!

Bob - thanks! I have that book on my shelf, just forgot about that reference.
Wayne - AMAZING group of knives you have. I never imagined that so may different patterns were made with the KIN-FOE stamp.
