Swedish AC or CA hunting knife information

Post by djknife13 »

I was given this knife by a nephew after his Dad's funeral today. I have a few Swedish knives but this one has a Logo (maker) that I don't recognize and would love to know who the maker was. The Logo is Mora with a A over C, (or C over an A) stamped betweed the Mo and the ra in Mora with a modified box around the wording. Any information about who this maker was would be much appreciated. ____Dave

All I can do Dave is show you the modern model, it's hair shaving sharp and was out of the box. I have read that they are well thought of, some say they wouldn't use anything else in the kitchen, I've not used mine but it sure feels good in hand. That's a fine looking knife and your nephew knew that if you had it it would in good hands that would mean a lot to me. ::tu::

This one is razor sharp and I know they have incredible steel. My sister-in-law told me last night that she suspects it was Jim's Grandpa's that he brought from Sweden. She said their dad had a drawer full of stuff from his dad that the kids weren't allowed to touch and that Jim inherited some of that stuff. Or else he got it at a rummage sale somewhere. I came up empty on the logo and maker. ___Dave

I think this might solve your dilemma. You can copy it into google and it should get you there.
