I bought this knife new about 30 years ago and I can't remember what the manufacturer's name is. The stamp looks like the letters L-W-T connected together with what looks like an ant next to them. The back is stamped Seki Japan. The body is made of two pieces of aluminum with a fancy carved scroll work and it is a liner lock that is released by pushing on the ball bearing sticking out of the side.
Anyone remember seeing this logo and what the company's name was?

The name is "ANT", like the little insect. I have a few ANT folders, all first rate workmanship. "Aristocrat" & "Balisong" are 2 other brands from the same time period and are similar to the Ants, i.e. same person might have been involved with all 3 brands ?

A quick search found 4 Ants: 2 Ruffians (3"), a Big Ant, 5", and a cheapo Ant, maybe after original owners sold name ?, whatever, a step down.

Thanks Roland! I am usually pretty good at deciphering logos but that one went right over my head;and that is one of the things I do for a living is design logos!kootenay joe wrote:The name is "ANT", like the little insect.
