I would think, its in nice shape for a 1968 but not for $300. I would put my money on a real WWII model by Kingston theres a nice unused one with the wonderful brass liners for sale right now $85.

I know that some collectors try to get the different years that are stamped on these Camillus made knives. That said I'm still very surprised at the money this knife brought. Looking at eBay completed auctions for "Camillus 1968" there are quite a few of these that have sole in the $30 to $60 range.
