Help with Knife Info.

Post by ThriftDaddy »

Hey gang!

Just bought 5 knives - 2 Kutmasters, 1 Rodgers, and 2 others can't make out yet. Any help on name of blades, approx year/decade, approx. value much appreciated. Have cleaned them a good amount and have more to go, any tips on that welcome, though did see there's a cleaning and restoration forum.

The Rodgers six blade congress pen is a rare knife. Condition is not the best but still a hard to find pattern. How are the blades marked?
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Awesome! Thanks! Love the blade chart.
One of the black ones doesn't say Kutmastet, it just has a patent number and a sharp oval on the black handle. What make is it?

Here's the 6 knife

I think you Rogers knife would date between 1937 and 1892 before the tariff act and when Victoria was on the throne of England.

Is it valuable at all? I bought all 5 knives for $15 total, knew it was a good deal no matter what, seems like my two Kutmasters are worth 10-15 each. It's hard to find examples of sales on the 6 blade, need a ballpark figure to list on eBay.

Thanks !!!!!
