handle material

Post by muskrat man »

this will be the official handle material thread.

I'll be posting a bit each day as I cut down more stuff.

Cut up some bone this morning, legbones from a cow that was hit on a RR tracks by my buddies house. Got one long set of primitive bone, one short set of primitive, a set of clean white, and a set of what I call bloodstained bone. My theory is that the animal bled internally and blood seeped through a break in the leg bone and leeched into the bone as it dried out, makes for an interesting look to say the least.
