Hello from East Texas

Post by bluerush55 »

Im Don I've owned a bunch of knives all my life but never really started collecting them till recently. My top knife of my collection is a Case Green bone Trapper 6254 which is either a early 1940 or a pre-1940. I bought a collectors book to see.
I like Cases knives, but I have some of others since I like going to flea markets, junk stores and any where. I always asked if some one has knives, the other day I went to a junk store and looked, then looked some more but didnt see any knives. So I asked the shop owner and he said yeah I got one. I haven't figured out what it is because most blades wont open due to rust. It's 2 3/4" long and has eight baldes on it. On the tang it looks like the letters _ t_llar. Then under this on the tang is last three letters "CAM" I think, but for two bucks what the heck IM excited about it. Just trying to look into the back ground of a knife is fun.

My favorite knives are Trappers and special edition Knives. Im trying to get the Case Green Apples series.
I aslo have a couple of old cars 1978 Caballero and 1982 ElCamino.
Yeah IM a rumager

Oh yeah, actually like it a little better. They have not done a great job with the road system in Tyler and it is all a mess now. I find it easier to drive here than in Tyler now.
