Age of Old Wostenholm

Here is an old ivory Corn knife. The blade has a long pull that extends to end of tang on both sides, but the handle ease-out is only on the front side. The tang is marked "George/Wostenholm". "Wostenholm" is very close to base of tang, not enough space for another line of marking, and the handle end covers these last few mm of tang. So likely no "Sheffield".
Is it possible to give a date range based on this marking and the long pull on both sides ?

Nice one Roland! Unusual to see a Wostenholm knife without the IXL trademark on it. On a lot of the earlier knives that was on the side of the blade rather than the tang. Is there any evidence of it there? Just a guess but from the type style I would venture somewhere between 1870 and 1900.

The blade is very scratched up both longitudinal and cross-wise and careful inspection with 9x loupe does not pick up evidence of an etch. With this degree of scratching i would not expect any part of an etch to survive.
I was hoping absence of "IXL" & "Sheffield" might indicate an early 1800's knife.
