Schrade 881y questions

Just bought a schrade 881y at my local antique shop. I didnt have a match striker pull in my collection so I took a liking to this one. It also has nice bolsters. The tang stamp on the master says Schrade over NY USA with 881y stamped on the other side. I am not familiar with schrade knives. The only other one I have is an 8OT. Can any one help me date the knife? I have read where some are delrin whereas some are cell. I have rubbed on this one with no smell of mothballs. I am guessing delrin. Thanks for any help anyone can give. I kinda like this one!

Well in the catalogs it appears they stopped making the 881Y in 1985. So it would be somewhere around 1973-85, maybe closer to '73 due to the match pull. The threaded bolsters are probably an aftermarket job.
