Army Jack Knife

Post by barkz »

can any one help identifying this knife? was it a German army issued jack knife? I have found plenty of information on the maker which is Henry Kaufmanu & sons but cannot seem to find the stamp that is on the tang, so wondered if the stamp was army related? the stamp is a flower and cross swords with an 's' in it and Germany wrote underneath it. I would appreciate any information anyone could offer on this please.

Since the stampings are in English and is stamped Germany, my guess is that it is not military and was made for export. ::shrug::
