Things Go Better With........

Post by bestgear »

Getting mentally ready to part-out my unofficial Scout knife collection and I came across these I had forgotten I had. Any and all information from you Coke collectors would be appreciated (market value, age, etc.). Thanks for looking!

I'm definitely drawn to that cattle knife... If it's going up for sale, be sure to let us know where/how much! ::tu::

Don't forget to hold onto the best ones for yourself. Just ask Bucksway, the regret will eventually catch up to you!

The three blade cattle knife is a modern fantasy fake, unfortunately. Made out of the parts hoard from the Utica factory.

Thanks Steve, good to know, I'll make sure it's properly taken care of and not passed along.

bob mayes-(col. Robert mayes) Middlesboro---had one of the 2 largest barlow collections in usa when he died--wrote many early knife books(I have one of 6 printed-book that was never published)he had many knives and more razors than anyone I have ever seen-he sold me his collection of coke knives and told me--ALL COCA-COLA 5c KNIVES ARE FAKE--colonial and u.s.a. stamped(colonial)-ALL OTHER COCA COLA STAMPED KNIVES ARE FAKE--UNLESS THEY ARE STAMPED--DELICIOUS AND REFRESHING and made by kastor/Camillus--exceptions=some local bottlers had own knives produced-stamped with local company name- such as Chattanooga tn.-the local ones I have seen were still made by Camillus..german Coca-Cola knives fake----bob died in late 80s or early 90s and some could have been made after he told me this-
