Merry Christmas from Australia

Schrade Cutlery Company was founded in 1904 by George Schrade, and his brothers Jacob and William Schrade. In 1946 Imperial Knife Associated Companies, (IKAC; an association of Ulster Knife Co and Imperial Knife Co) purchased controlling interest in Schrade Cut Co and changed the name to Schrade Walden Cutlery. In 1973 the name was changed to Schrade Cutlery. In 2004 Schrade closed due to bankruptcy.

This forum is dedicated to the knives that are the legacy of this company. This forum is not the place to discuss the replica knives currently being imported using the Schrade name.

Merry Christmas from Australia

Post by Schradenut »

Hi All,
Just a short note to wish you a wonderful Christmas, and hope you all have a great time. It is such a delightful time to get the families together, and enjoy the wonders of what Christmas is all about.
My most important wish is that you are all safe over this festive season. I want to enjoy your postings again next year.
A big thank you to you all, for the most interesting topics that have been produced for discussion, and the showing of some of the most amazing knives on the planet.
I am looking forward with much anticipation what will be presented in 2018, to bring much joy to this old codger.
Best wishes to all,
Tony. ::tu:: ::ds::

Merry Christmas to you too Tony!
Any chance you can make it to Oregon in April this coming year? I think the OKCA show is going to be a great one this year! ::nod::

Many thanks Dale.
Getting to the Oregon Knife Show would be wonderful Dale. Doug still talks about different aspects of the show, and through him it was like i was there last year. Allllll those magnificent tables(specially #10), and the numerous names there that are synonymous with knife collecting and manufacture.
There are so many amazing places and people i would love to make contact with in the USA.....including DV.
Tony.
