Navy Sailors rope Knives

I will be adding these knives shortly to my ETSY site. They are Navy rope knives. Very early and rare. All have really good snaps to them.

Is ETSY an ebay like site ? similar fees ?
Do they mind listing ivory ?

Etsy started life as a "crafters" shop - it was where individuals that made things could sell. It is not an auction site. So, for example, if you liked to make back scratchers out of genuine pine cones and glitter, you could put up a store on Etsy to sell them. Since then, it has morphed into a more general purpose online shopping site - but they say that all items must either be handmade, vintage (20 years or older) or be crafting supplies. I would say it is still primarily focused on crafts, collectibles and customized products.

As far as ivory, here's part of their Terms of Service (https://www.etsy.com/legal/prohibited):

The following are examples of animal products that may not be sold on Etsy:

1. Live animals.
2. Items created using any animal species designated as threatened or endangered by the US Endangered Species Act or listed in Appendix I of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES).
3. Items made from cat and dog parts or pelts as defined by US Federal Law.
4. Ivory or bones from ivory-producing animals, including tusks, elk ivory, fossilized ivory, and wooly mammoth ivory.
5. Items made from human remains, except for teeth and hair.[/list]

So it is an online 'flea market' for specified categories of items and some restrictions. Presumably open to vendors worldwide ?
Is it correct that no knives can be listed on ebay U.K. ?
