My first Schrade knives

Schrade Cutlery Company was founded in 1904 by George Schrade, and his brothers Jacob and William Schrade. In 1946 Imperial Knife Associated Companies, (IKAC; an association of Ulster Knife Co and Imperial Knife Co) purchased controlling interest in Schrade Cut Co and changed the name to Schrade Walden Cutlery. In 1973 the name was changed to Schrade Cutlery. In 2004 Schrade closed due to bankruptcy.

This forum is dedicated to the knives that are the legacy of this company. This forum is not the place to discuss the replica knives currently being imported using the Schrade name.

WOW!
You set the bar pretty high for your first Schrades.
Congratulations!
I've never seen a 'Pioneer' before. Very good score!

Hey Pile Driver ,that's a nice pair of rare knives you started out with. I didn't know about the Pioneer camp knife and still have not seen a bone handled 8OT. Lucky you! And happy one year anniversary on AAPK ::groove::

Keep your edge sharp, otherwise you just can't cut it.

Looking for Carrier Cutlery and early Robeson with Elmira tang stamps.

Oooh, way to rub it in.
That's a low investment cost there with instant profit and satisfaction. The kind of deal we all hope for. Awesome score!
