I was recently able to acquire this Brownng model 3816 Damacus Hunter knife made by Ichiro Hattori in Seki Japan. A beautiful fixed blade knife.

How sharp is the edge ? Super-duper scary sharp ? or "pretty sharp" ?

surprising not as sharp as I would imagine. Shaves hair but not a clean as I would have thought. I had a Chris Reeves Mountaineer ll that was so sharp it scared me to touch the edge.
