Nice Remington pearl pen
Recently I did a multi-knife trade and among those I got was this Remington swell center congress pen knife which I felt was alone worth more than the knives I traded away. I believe the knife dates in the 1924-1933 time frame. The small blade looks repointed but I am not positive it wasn't made that way. I think it is a really classy, unusual knife.

That's a dandy! Looks like the Northwoods Norfolk. Wonder if that is based off this pattern?

Here is one of it's fancier cousins, a whittler with fluted bolsters. It is my favorite among Remington knives. The small blade on your knife has definitely been worn down and has an altered shape, it was not made that way. Rare beautiful pattern though.

Here is the GEC made Northwoods "Norfolk Whittler", great old British (Sheffield ?) pattern.

Wow, that is a beauty! I can see why it is your favorite. Fun to know they made a fancy whittler on the same frame as mine.Gunsil wrote:DSCN3472.JPG
