What can you tell me about a 4 3/4 Riggers knife (metal handles) with a tang stamp 'MS LTD XX'. I was told about 20 years ago that this is a Case XX. I can't find it in Sargent's book.
I'm a newbie to AAPK and don't know how to attach a photo or I would.

Welcome to AAPK. I have one of those knives, not in the best condition though. Here are pictures of it. Also if you have Sargent's 7th edition the knife is on page 252. The stamp is shown on page 36.

I tend to think the 1948-1952 is correct since he gave some detail about Case purchasing Pictou Cutlery in Nova Scotia in 1948 at Canadian government request, to produce this pattern for their military. Says they used the OP stamping on those knives.Ken
