If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

I hope they will be the last ones used on our mother Earth. Because a bomb now will be the end of everything and everyone.

That was a shame and likely unnecessary since the fire bombing of Tokyo killed more enemy than either nuclear bomb. I think surrender could have been achieved without the nukes but they did produce the desired effect. Eustace is right, there cannot ever be more nukes used or the earth will die.

It is easy to be a Monday morning quarterback 73 years later, but the US probably came as close as it ever has to being defeated in WW II.
We unleashed hell on earth, but the projected casualties in US troops alone, without considering Japanese civilian casualties, exceeded the number killed from both bombs.

I pray to God that no one ever uses another Atomic weapon on military or civilian targets but I thank God that it ended the war very quickly instead of dragging on for who knows how many more years.

The only group that is truly likely to use an atomic weapon are the Muslim extremists in Iran and their primary target is Israel.

If I read my Bible and several commentaries correctly and I believe I do, God is not going to allow that to happen.

Maybe that doesn’t comfort all of you, but it does me.
