The jigging bothers me, big time! ::hmm:: A small Case Coke bottle that is "the real thing" is worth several bucks. ::nod::

Please don't claim "fake" and walk away without elaborating.
In my effort to learn, it would be appreciated if reasons and tell-tail signs were explained and pointed out as to why it is fake.
I'm sure many members can spot fakes from across the room. I can't. I'm also sure there are many members who are in the same boat I am.
Thanks.
Take care and God bless,

As I was told and taught many years ago by the powers to be on this knife sight....if you spend untold hours and look at many thousands of case knives....a fake one will jump out at u like a turd in a punchbowl.......simply put....do ur homework and it will fall into place......FLEAS OUT

Steve do you notice how the jigging is in a straight line top to bottom? Well Case never did anything like that . Their jigging was always offsetabout the center of the handle. Also look at how those pins sit well above the surface of the handle. Not done by an old time Case cutler.

I can't enlarge the photos, but to me it looks like an authentic frame/blades...blades may have been cleaned.. with recent handles applied.

I thought fake when I first saw this also. The jigging and the pins especially don’t look right. Also that main blade, the clip blade doesn’t quite look right. Not sure I have seen that shape before. I wonder if this knife isn’t a Frankenstein?
