Can anyone tell me about this knife
Just traded for this knife and can’t clearly make out the manufacturer.

My guess is "Peter Altenbach & Sohns", which I think is connected somehow to Kastor?

Re: Can anyone tell me about this knife
Please show the entire knife, blade open, both sides (i.e. 2 pictures, or more and also show with blade closed).
These are needed to assess your knife and then say something meaningful about it. The markings are not the most important part of any knife. They might be important, but only after entire knife has been carefully examined.

I did a quick check of the Kastorlist and I didn't see Peter Altenbach & Sohns.TwoFlowersLuggage wrote:My guess is "Peter Altenbach & Sohns", which I think is connected somehow to Kastor?

Yeah - I might be wrong about that - I just saw some sites in google that seemed to have both names, However, looking farther, I see Peter Altenbach might be connected to "Swan Works Cutlery"? Of course, that could also just be a bad lead.

It's Peter Henderson & Co.
The knife was imported from England, very nice old pruner

Another home run by 'Slugger Sleuth Dimitri' ! Knives must talk to him, even the ones that normally are silent.
