Benchmade clone?

I am assuming this is a counterfeit.
But it is available in various places:

Am I correct? This just seems wrong.

I don't think I have ever seen many Benchmade's that cheap. Something is amiss.

I pretty much assume all new ZT, BM & Spyderco knives on ebay are clones unless they are sold by a dealer with a retail location or website where I can see they are a legitimate reseller of that brand. If someone can sell a new ZT, BM or Spyderco for less than BladeHQ or SMKW, there is something fishy going on...

No so at all. I buy Collections all the time with those knives in them that I can sell a little cheaper, not that I would but I can . There is other places to buy them than SMKW, & BladeHQ ::groove::

David, the Benchmade does not say it’s a Benchmade, it says it’s a Butterfly, whatever the heck that is. And they have it marked as a reproduction, not original. It’s obviously a knock off but it’s not claiming to be the original.
Anything DHgate sells is suspicious and MOST likely a fake.

Read the seller's description. He calls the knife a "Reproduction". The manufacturer might be trying to deceive but this seller is presenting it honestly.
