My First Custom Work
There really is a level of pride in doing this work, I'm happy with how it turned out for my first one.
Can anyone guess what it started life as?

Nice knife, looks like a great fit and finish. What kind of wood is it, and what did the knife start out as? Your right there is a lot of enjoyment in doing this knid of work, keep it up.

great job.
my first effort to make a knife from nothing, has left me with several bare knuckles, one bent fingernail...damn belt sanders...and a serious belief that straight lines are beyond me.

Re: My First Custom Work
Thanks for the encouragement, I thought I was just going to make one to prove to myself that I could do it, but now that I have, there's gonna be more! I think my next project will be a simple fillet knife.
