The Eleventh Hour of the Eleventh Day of the Eleventh Month
Tomorrow, 11NOV2018 will mark the one hundredth anniversary of the end of The First World War.
For years tomorrow was known as Armistice Day, honoring that event.
But, as The War To End All Wars proved to be not that at all and hundreds of thousands of American men and women would die in all the subsequent conflicts, the day was changed to Veterans Day.
We have Memorial Day to honor our war dead and we have Veterans Day to honor all those who served.
So, tomorrow, all you vets know that I honor you and your service, regardless of the time in which you served, your MOS or the situations in which you fulfilled your duties.
SALUTE, gentlemen.

Re: The Eleventh Hour of the Eleventh Day of the Eleventh Month
While we earnestly look forward to this day........
“And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.”
Isaiah 2:4 KJV
Until then, I thank the Lord for the men who are/were willing to stand in the gap and make up the hedge!
Thank you all!
