Is this a fake Mcusta? I think so.

Post by Sharpnshinyknives »

Seller says this is a Mcusta prototype. I say hogwash. There is nothing on this knife to suggest it was made by Mcusta. The style is so different from anything Mcusta makes, it doesn’t even resemble a Mcusta.
Anyone think this is legit?

Gary, I trust your opinion more than anyone else on this. I contacted the buyer and he says he bought it from an authorized dealer. He lost the pouch it came in and he has nothing other than his word that it’s genuine. I think he also has some valuable swampland if anyone is interested.

I didn't see country of origin or Mcusta on it from the pictures you posted doesn't have the quality look of a real Mcusta I'm guessing China .

Me either. Seems like I have seen this knife before or one that was designed the same. The knife doesn’t look at all like a Mcusta and it does look like a Chinese made knife. I haven’t seen any Mcusta’, Moki’s or Al Mar’s that didn’t have at least a Japan stamped on it somewhere.
