It's a Case but not a 1940-65 XX era knife. These with SS glazed finish and that etch didn't come out until the XX U.S.A. era. The U.S.A. on this one is hidden under the bolster - might even be some dots under there as these extended into the dotted era IIRC. Significantly over-priced IMHO.

I'll agree with Ken plus the owner said "plastic" handles, looks like there may be a little color showing up in the handle on the pile side, maybe. ::hmm::

I don't believe that the razor edge etch on the blade came out until the USA era. There was a stamp like that though if there is no U.S.A. under it that indicates 1950-1964.
