Winchester
I have had my eyes pealed for a vintage Winchester lately. Came across this item https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Winche ... 0008.m2219. My book does not show a bare head and says it should have a spear blade. When I saw lambsfoot etch Sheffield first comes to mind. In my humble opinion an across the room fake but I could be wrong.

What in the?! Looks like something out of Sheffield (Wostenholm?) that's been restamped.

Re: Winchester
Did Winchester ever use a lambfoot blade ? If they did was it marked the same as this master blade ?

Re: Winchester
That was what I was trying to say just not very clear. My book shows a model 2860 to have a spear blade and pen. Nickel silver bolster cap shield and lining. Picture shows swell end jack.

Question: What is the difference from a lambs foot blade and a warmcliff blade?
Honey do you have your pocket knife ? Do I have my pants on?

Different shape. A true Wharncliffe blade is fairly short and stout with a straight edge coming to a point. A Lambfoot blade is not as stout, is longer and the spine tapers in a curve to the tip, similar to the deeper Sheepsfoot blade. You can look them up online or in any good knife book and see what i am trying to describe.
