Fake Case 6332 - Almost Laughably Bad!!
Can you believe that some unscrupulous seller actually sold this obviously FAKE Case 6332 on Ebay? Things have REALLY gotten bad out there - #1 that anyone would sell a PHONY knife like this, and #2 that some poor unsuspecting buyer would be taken in by the obvious FAKE.

May we assume the knife was returned because the purchaser thought it was counterfeit?

Uhhhhhhhhhhhh. Huh? Looks good to me and from what I hear the seller is pretty knowledgeable on Case knives. As a matter of fact didn't he write the book on them? Hmmm...
Good one!!!

Steve,
I would be interested in hearing his/her reason for returning the knife. I am always amazed at the extent people will go to avoid paying the return shipping. It always seems to happen with stone mint knives.

Here is the exact quote from the buyer:thefarside wrote:Steve,

The knife I received is not a authentic 6332 case knife. Blades are very thin and cheap! The handles are not red bone they are red plastic. This knife is not worth what was paid.
Maybe I should ask this genius to send me a link to an authentic Case 6332 so that I can learn the difference.

That fake rust on the backspacing was a really devious stratagem by this unscrupulous bum.

Hard to believe that this rocket scientist can't tell the difference between red bone and red plastic. Actually the truth probably is he got it and his wife said "Send it back, you can't afford that!!" Where I used to work, a contractor supply that sold power tools, we had a customer that used to buy things on a regular basis by coming in and buying 4 new tools. His wife would make him return 3 of them, but he would keep the ONE HE WANTED TO BEGIN WITH!!

Re: Fake Case 6332 - Almost Laughably Bad!!
A tragic result of transactions like this can be that the perfectly innocent seller can end up with bad feedback and low DSR numbers and he is powerless to do anything about it. All the seller can do is ask the buyer to remove it if they do not the good people at ebay will tell you that feedback is no more than an opinion and in no event can they be an arbiter of opinion. Didn't there used to be an appeal process for feedback? There are many cases where bad feedback is unjustifed and many other cases where the seller richly deserves it and slides by. The entire process should be renovated.
