Case 25 Cent and others

Post by PCwizard »

Need to know if these are real.

I don't think the 25 is real but I may be wrong. The two center pins don't look right to me.

Gary, my advice is to post in the wanted ads on here (AAPK), and the guys will be very helpful in locating your knife interests. Ebay is very tricky with alot of counterfeit and Frankenstein knives. The seller you are inquiring about has been on the counterfeit forum not that long ago, just stroll down the list and I'm sure you'll find all the information you need. ~Jon

I believe you are correct. Based on authentic Case 25 cent knives I have seen, pin placement isn’t correct.

Here is a Case Bradford that is the same pattern as the 25 cent knife. It is what a real 25 cent knife should look like with the exception of the tang stamp. The color and jigging of the of the bone is all wrong on the OP knife. The OP knives are all cobbled junk.

I meant to post this a few weeks ago but slipped my mind. This eBay listing if for a Stag handled 25 cent knife. The pattern number for this would be 5106. This pattern was never made with stag handles which makes it fake. The fake knife also has a cap bolster which incorrect for the frame. It sold for $104.
