Do the handles look right on this knife? Says bone and should be but sure looks funny to me around where the pins were spun. ::shrug::

I'm no expert...but it looks like Delrin...like it's sort of "melted" via the spinning of the pins. If it is Delrin...that would put it after 1960. We will see what the experts say.

Yes, delrin. I have seen bone with the same kind of marks from spinning the pins though.

The knife is listed 1946-1956.
I agree its Delrin.
Delrin was not used till 1959-60

I thought the no line stamp was 1946-1947 but I see it on this one and on another one on ebay. I don't understand why tang stamp would be used in the 60's. ::shrug::

Camillus was a bit like Schrade .They did not waste anything.
If there was some old blades lying around they used them.
They tang stamp chart is only a guide to around about a timeline.
So when I look at a knife I also look at handle material.
