The bone color also looks wrong for Tested XX and also looks more like USA.

I agree. Not a Tested era shield and doesn’t look right for the era. I don’t think the pull is right either. The older ones, the long pull extended nearly to the choil. This one is shorter, like you see on more recent knives, and also,doesn’t have the prominent swages you’ll see on older master blades on this pattern. Not a very clear picture of the stamp - may be a cold stamp but it looks too small in size for the blade anyway. ::shrug::

For comparison here is an example of an honest Tested blade found in an old thread here.

The tang stamp is all wrong on this knife. Letter size varies, alignment bad and spacing is not uniform.
