We are under Flash Flood Warnings and Tornado Watches but it hasn't hit us yet. Looks like it's about 40 miles away at the moment and headed straight for us. Might be a sleepless night.

It is springtime, so I guess it's to be expected, but it's still a little scary when it's really severe. Take care Sir and watch the news reports.

This is definitely not my favorite time of the year in OK. Tornado warnings today and heavy storms right now. It's only the beginning.

Stay dry and be safe. I will be passing through your area in about two weeks stopping at the I-44 Antique Mall and then going down to Jenks to check out a couple of stores.

Thanks, you stay safe as well.

The I-44 shop is a good one, I have found several knives there. The american heritage antique shop in jenks is one of the best antique shops around here.

Here we go again tonight. It looks like Ponder, TX where I'm at will get hit later tonight, but you folks just over the Red River and the Ardmore area please be safe. The radar shows very nasty stuff all around that area.

There are some very special folks in Texas. Please stay safe!
All of you who are in areas under warnings, be it the USA, here in Canada or anywhere else, be safe! Don’t take chances, go if you’re told to and post if you can, ‘cause, you know, we worry...
Perhaps we could do something like the Facebook checkin, where people who have something extreme in the area could let us know they’re ok?
Up here, it’s fires. We’ve had a few already this year and they are mostly upcountry, but one of these days some fool is going to set off the North Shore mountians. Then there’s the Big One that they keep on about. The latest is some folks raising concern about the oil refinery tanks in Burnaby, which are up a mountain and over sixty years old. A good shake and who knows?!
Right now though, you folks in the tornado zone need our prayers, good vibes, and whatever else we can throw at ya!

Thank you! At this very moment the thunder and lighting is all around our area and my little dog is just beside himself. All of your thoughts and prayers for anyone in the path of these storms is more than welcome. Safety and blessings to you and your family.

The last round looks like it was truly awful. Why does the town of Geronimo ring such a bell? Do we have a member there?
Be safe everyone! If it’s a big story on our news, it must be bad.
I’ll stop complaining about a bit of rain now... ::teary_eyes::

I have heard chances of an F4 or F5 long track tornado in The Panhandle and Southern Oklahoma to be 40 to 50 % today.

Everybody stay alert.

We're doing good over here in west Denton County or north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. However we have more thunderstorms expected about 3:00 am and on through Tuesday morning.
Prayers to everyone and stay up with your weather warnings.

We just had the sirens going in my area of Tulsa. They are off now, all is well at the moment. I am enjoying the sound of rain.

Oh wow. Be safe! I can’t imagine dealing with that kind of stress. I’ll be praying for everyone tonight.
Over in Alberta we have a big fire in High River.
They are doing some evacuation. I knew someone from there years ago.
Every year we lose structures to the fires. Whole neighbourhoods go sometimes.
I’ve been watching the footage of the big twister that almost took out the person filming. Unbelievable.

I saw that as well zoogirl...he was lucky to survive...seems all
these tornado's from above the gulf up thru the Lone Star state
into Oklahoma have been traveling the same kinda path over
and over. everyone in that huge swath of land area has to be
getting very weary. And into the deep south as well,
Mississippi, Alabama etc.. Pray this quits quits soon and gives
all these folk's some respete

These pictures are not very good, but they give you an idea of the situation in tulsa. The arkansas river is higher than its ever been in my lifetime. In some areas it's over the banks and covering the sidewalk. The casino at 81st and riverside is now in the water.

It just popped up on my FB that Ohio is getting pounded by tornados and storms. I know we have folks there. Chime in and let us know you’re ok.

We live in St. Marys Oh. We're ok here. Celina got hit by an F3 tornado just 10 miles west of us. At least 40 homes totally destroyed and about 30+ heavily damaged.
