William Onofreychuk here. Been super happy with all the knives i've picked up from you.
I don't know anything about this one, but she looks really nice.
I'm thinking something Turkish.
The on here should have a good idea, far better then me anyway.

Piazza San Marco, or St. Mark's Square is a location, and tourist spot in Venice. So, I'm guessing Italian origin.

It is German. I cannot recall which manufacturer used this logo but i will search Carter's book for it.

"SMF" is under the logo: "Solinger Metallwaren-Fabrik, founded in 1871, closed 1974. They made razor blades, tableware, manicure sets, gravity knives, army officers' daggers and pocket knives.
"Solinger" is correct. The name is not "Solingen"

Solingen = city of origin
Solinger = the company's place of origin
which is of course Solingen!!!

Little confusing German Grammar... Lol
