Funny but true. I refuse to send anything to “the cloud” despite the multiple and continual attempts of Apple, Google and others to get me to “buy more storage”.

Jerry, thank you so much for sharing that link! I am embarrassed to admit that I have been wondering about the "cloud" thing that Apple harasses me about daily. Now I understand perfectly.

Every time I hear "The Cloud" I go on a rant. "The Cloud" is a dadgummed DASD farm (direct-access storage device i.e. disk drive) in a field in Nebraska or where ever.

Kitty Flanagan is a very funny woman. Has been on the comedy scene over here for a long time. Has also been in some very funny TV series. One was called UTOPIA which was a send up of a government department of infrastructure. It was frustrating to watch though, knowing that this is how governments operate. Our taxes at work-allegedly.
