A visit with Herman and a Birthday all in the same year???? That sounds a bit much. Oh well, get out and shoot something, admire some of those fine, fine knives you have, eat some cake and have a great Birthday. God bless you and yours on this your special day. ::tu:: ::handshake::

I want to thank allof you for the Birthday wishes...this year made it 64 trips around the sun. Yes, I did order up something from Herman. The Camillus TL-29 seems to be a favorite of many to modify so I asked Herman to make me a desk knife for opening packages and letters. He clipped the spear blade, shortened the screwdriver and turned it into a coping blade, then added his signature fat sambar scales. h

Herman also put a 275 Trail of Tears Blade in a 75th Anniversary frame, front and rear fancy bolsters instead of the usual front only along with some sambar stag he had been holding in reserve.

A man can count himself pretty lucky when he gets this many people wishing him a happy birthday. Herman wanted a completely original Trail of Tears clasp so we traded on that one....and he gave me the Camillus for my birthday. I'm feeling pretty blessed today. Thanks to all of you.
