Tip Top Rebladed

Post by orvet »

Last year I found an old Camillus Barlow on ebay. The bolsters are engraved with the words “TIP TOP.”
As you can see from the picture the main blade was quite short, but the old bone handles were beautiful.
Some time later I was speaking with Tom Williams (CAMCO), & Tom said he had a set of blades that would fit the old Tip Top. The blades are not identical, but they worked just fine. The new blades take a razor edge. It has become my newest EDC.

Thanks Tom for the help!

That old Barlow deserved to be salvaged. ::nod::

Looks good and should make a…tip top EDC for years to come! :) ::tu::
