Ever seen this W.R. Case & Son's Pattern before?
Just wondering if anybody out there has seen this W.R. Case & Son's Pattern (82060) before? Got it from Steve, and he says he has never seen it before. Thanks in advance for all replies. donjr

That makes that knife pretty special. Didn't see it in Sargent's last.

I’ve not seen one before but I commented on your post about it on the CCC Forum, with what little I have to offer.
Thanks for showing the knife.

I have a Case Tested that is quite similar I was hoping to find out about. It does not have model number on the tang but from the Case branding it seems to be from the 1920-1940 range. Can anyone say if that is incorrect or not?

If it’s 3-1/8 inches long (closed length) its a pattern M279R. Although most references date that stamp 1920-1940, others believe 1920-1945. (There is ample evidence that the stamp was used during WWII).
If your knife is not that length you’ll need to measure it and post what the length is.
