Should make a fine user Chris!
Scored these just this afternoon, & what a surprise they were! Don’t judge a book by its cover, or a knife by its box!

OK, you either picked up a time machine and are hauling them back from 1940, or bought one of those fancy new copy machines and figured out how to copy those knives from a book. Whatever, don't stop now. ____Dave

Scott,
I have but one little guy from this weekend. Well, not that little. He’s kind of at the edge of my guys, actually. William Rodgers.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
I couldn't get to the Beloit Show this year so I consoled myself by going to a local gun show and an antique shop and picked up these. A G Jon Berg, Eskiltuna, a Winchester jack, and a J.A. Henckels. The belt buckle is a SL Knight sculpture from Salt Lake City, Utah. I have two others, a moose and a bear by the same maker.____Dave

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
A very sweet pick up Ann. Straight from Mr. Rogers neighborhood.

Dave, you sure know how to make things better. All great knives but the Eskilstuna and the jack appeal most to me. Excellent pick ups all around.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
djknife13, I am visiting in Wisconsin and was planning on attending the Beloit show. However, I checked their website a couple of weeks ago and it said that the show was cancelled indefinitely due to lack of interest.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Thanks Dan. I hadn't heard that and would have really been bummed out if I had driven clean across Wisconsin to find no show. I went last year and, though the show was relatively small at least compared to the Janesville show,, I did really well finding stuff I really liked. It's scary that our hobby is slipping away and we may end up getting too old to keep collecting with a pile of knives and no way to sell them. At least I found a few locally to tinker with. Have fun in Wisconsin and hope you get out before next weekend. They are forecasting snow around here. ____Dave

I managed to pick up this group at our local fleamarket over the weekend for $20 total. Schrade Old Timer 25 OT folding hunter, outgassing Remington stockman, Colonial camper knife, Frontier mini stockman, Germania MOP pen.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Dave, the 3 you show above are all Great knives. The Henckels is a Henckels, i.e. made by Henckels. It is an old pattern present in 1920's Henckels catalog and it was not a new pattern then.
The Swedish dagger is very collectible, would go well over $100 at auction or higher if the collectors of vintage Scandinavian knives see it.
And a Winchester Stabber jack ! I look for this pattern, hard to find.
Wish i could find knives in this league !

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
I've been seeing some really fine knives on here the past few days, congrats to everyone.
With all the problems on the net I've been holding off, but here is a different style "Ulu Knife" I got for my son and grandsons to do some serious skinning with.

Found this 1960s Case hump back half whittler in Maine on Sunday, talked it down to a cool $50. Pretty nice piece, virtually

Scott, I believe you could find a haul of knives on the south pole! Last pic, fixed blade to the far left looks interesting to me. Congrats on your find.
