Thank you, Sir. Steve gets most of the credit for finding these, I had the Blue Scroll and 6244 boxes previously.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

I don't have very many old knives with boxes but I did pick up this IXL from the recent Bruce Voyles auction. It's in the "Sheffield Knives Exhibition" book. Lots of great knives in the auction. This one is 2 inches closed.

Thanks Lee and Mike. There are some teeny swedges on the blades. Someone had good eyesight and steady hands back in the day.

Thanks Lee, now I need to get the book. I think the whittler was the proverbial low hanging fruit in that auction, but I'm happy to have it.

Cool to have a beautiful knife from the Sheffield book, Mike! ::tu:: I just got a copy of the book in the mail today. Opened it up straight away and went looking for your knife. Knife World has them on sale for a really good price right now.
Neat NYK lobster and paper sleeve, Barry! ::tu::

Beautiful Ulster. DO you have any history on the box? Was this an individual shipping direct to a scout customer box?
