Eafengrow EF16 fipper

Post by Byrd »

I got this knife about a month ago off Amazon for about $20. I've had good luck with the Ganzos I've got so I thought I'd try another Chinese flipper. I LOVE the blade shape! It's handy for slicing and kitchen use. The blade is supposed to be D2 and the handles are G10. A few days after I got it the handles came loose so a bit of locktite fixed that. The action is smooth and after a month of everyday use the blade is still sharp. Is it a Ganzo competitor? I don't know but it's fun.

That's a nice looking knife, I'm a big Ganzo fan myself.

Been thinking on getting one of them Ef16's, I've got 2 and I consider them to be the best of the Chinese made knives of this price point. Also have one on the slow boat from China, should be here monday.

That's quite a collection! I like the EF. It's a ball bearing flipper and is as well made as the Ganzos. I'm excited to see how it performs over the long haul.

The slow boat from China finally got here. Some more sharp, the spine is a hair over one eights inch wide, might make a fine chopping axe  ::handshake::

Now that's a knife! Interesting blade shape. I'd use it.

I own a couple Eafengrows. They are good beater knives that keep a decent edge. I have one stashed in the glove compartment of my car.

My first knife in my collection was an Eafengrow. Honestly, I was intrigued by the brand name.

They are actually pretty decent knifes. Chinese made knives have come a long way in 20 years. You can't automatically assume they're junk anymore.
