Gerber HELP

I received this Gerber and I like the layout. The spring bar is gone. So my problem is I have no parts knife to take parts from and I have no way to manufacture the spring bar. I also have no idea on the dimensions of the spring bar as there was never one with it. So any help if someone has a parts knife or if another mechanic could make on I will be glad to send the knife with payment for the repairs. I like the stag. Just let me know. Thanks everyone.

I do not have it handy to compare to your pictures but I bought a Gerber stag stockman with a locking master blade when Cabela's closed them out in their bargain cave. Mine is marked China. The high pointy peak of the master blade in yours screams China. Mine was so inexpensive that it is hard to believe that they are worth repairing unless you can do it yourself with time to kill.

This is not marked China but it may be, but I do like it. If I had the parts I could fix it. I think it would be a good everyday carry and it seems a shame not to fix it. I understand totally what your saying though. Just thought I would ask if anyone has a parts knife or the like. I may have to disassemble it and use it for parts but it sure does seem like a waste. I believe all you will need is a piece of spring steel to make the little spring that pushes up on the lock bar.
I make them quite often for lockbacks like Schrade LB series as well as other lock back knives.
It may be a little more crowded since you have a couple other blades in there, but it should be pretty much the same as a single blade lockback.
Jantz supply sells spring steel, or if you have an idea of the dimensions I can send you a piece myself.
One of the things I have done before is use steel from a spring clamp. You may have to bend it and grind it down a bit to get it to fit, but it will work.

I have a Gerber with a broken Main that looks similar to yours...send a pic of it with all the blades open, and a measurement of the closed length. I can check tomorrow morning to see if mine is s match.
If so, I would gladly do the repairs.

You are right Dale. I have repaired Buck 110s, LB7 and the like but normally I have a parts-knife around. I have never made that bar before. Not saying I’m intimidated lol just never have made one. I think Reverand may be coming to my rescue. Thanks Dale, you are always in my thoughts and prayers.
