Been whittling again

Post by keithlong »

Ever since I introduced the ole Uncle Henry into carving, I cant get it to stop. This is what I will call an hour glass toy. The ring slides up and down on it. Was fun to do. Hope you enjoy it.

Guys,

I know these aren't up to par with your faces and whatnot, but it was some fun whittling anyway. I was on a 2 week vacation back in Northern Saskatchewan and I had some time to sit around each afternoon. I needed a bunch of file handles for some of my smaller files, so I thought I would put my old antique half broken, reshaped and profiled harness jack to work. I used some green diamond willow and waterlogged beaver cut willow too. All the spirals are pretty much symetrical.

The whale and gator were requests from my 2 year old son....you have to use your imagination!

Great work! I hope you get the "bug" and continue to whittle, and if you do, please post some pics! ::tu:: ::tu::
