Ulster stockman
I can't say that this knife is not authentic, but it doesn't feel right to me. The etch is sloppy, the tang stamps are horrible, and the beautiful bone does not look like the Ulster bone that I am more familiar with. That said, it is really a beautiful little stockman and will make someone happy, but not me.

That tang stamp is really strange looking, and so is the etch.

The bone reminds me of some Remington bone. But the knife is a good looking piece.

I have to agree that the tang stamps and the blade etch do look sketchy (no pun intended). However, I have purchased quite a few nice knives from this seller in the past, and have been quite happy with everything I have received from him.

I don't think the seller is dishonest and I don't know if the knife is good or bad, but I did think that it merited discussion. Anyway, I am saving my money for more toilet paper.

Good luck finding some. I just went to Walmart and not one (expletive deleted) roll!

I think the knife is okay.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

It looks very much like the jigged bone seen on Camillus made Craftsman Sta-Sharp knives from 1940's.
