Case XX Canoe

Post by XX Case XX »

I've noticed that some Case Canoe's have the "Indian-in-the-Canoe" blade embellishment and some don't. Anyone know why?

Probably the same reason some have embellished bolsters, some have long pulls, some have...
You get the idea. Anyway, just a guess on my part. ::shrug::

Steve Pfeiffer says in his book the etched blade on the 131 pattern was introduced in 1974 to appeal to collectors and continued for years on those having CV blades.

I think that they only do the "Indian" etch on the standard product 62131 in bone/CV.

They may be forced to stop due to PC issues, the way things are going these days.
