Very informative link Josh.
So in addition to causing a great many more Covid deaths, an attempt to acquire herd immunity would take at least 2 years and overwhelm the capacity of the health care system to manage all other illnesses during this time.
Covid is a a reality. No amount of wishful thinking will make it 'disappear'. It would only make the current serious situation even more serious.

Dang It, Ole KJ must have a sore tooth or something that makes him complain about any and everything on AAPK.

What he need is some of the stuff we ran off last month.
it’s age enough to make you forget all negative thoughts ::tu::

joe, what are you talking about ? What "stuff" ?
I do not "complain". Stating an opinion that is not the same as yours is not 'complaining'.
Debate the issue, don't attack the 'messenger'.
Blade dates for this year have either been changed or cancelled, not due to anything i said, but because those in charge of Blade are sensible people.
They did not want Blade to be a source of infection spread and they also likely figured attendance would be down so it would not be as profitable as past years.
Life always throws curves at us, so we all need to be flexible and adapt to whatever the 'curve' is. In the grand scheme of life, cancelling Blade for one year is no big deal.

Good luck Gary at the knife show. I've noticed this past week people are getting out on the roads more and more. I would've liked to meet you in person and check out all the different knives... I got cabin fever too.
