Ryan,
If one week won't inconvenience you too badly I would suggest you give everybody a week after signing up to get together their POSs to send off, as some guys work out of town. some of us who are less organized may have to search for POS has to get the right POs to the right person.

You may even find that the added time is an advantage for you If you're as disorganized as something like that as I am. ::facepalm::

Just a suggestion. Like Jerry said you're doing all the heavy lifting so it's up to you! ::nod:: ::tu::

Yes, we really do send junk knives to each other and some even slip a fairly nice one in with the crap. Read this entire thread and follow the links provided earlier in the thread to some of our previous POS Roundtables. They will tell you exactly what this is all about and how it goes. There's a wealth of information to be had if you take the time to read.

The link to the 2018 POS thread should give you a real good idea of how it goes. It even has pictures.

Jerry explained it well. I'll just add something else. The knives should be in one piece*. It's bad enough getting a real piece of crap, but if it has a missing blade or is falling apart, that's an even worse kick in the teeth. ::teary_eyes::

But if you look at the old threads, you can get an idea of the type of stuff people send...

*Edited to add, whoever gets me, I do also like parts knives, so anything American, Sheffield, or German can be sent (in one piece or not)

If we call it that, the packages would have to self quarantine for 14 days. Come to think of it, they should probably do that anyway... ::barf::

If we named it the Covid-19 POS Exchange we have the unique opportunity of possibly having the only good thing but comes out of this pandemic.

Oh, wait a minute, this is a POS exchange were talking about...

It's pretty sad when the only positive thing you can think of that comes out of covid-19 is a POS Exchange. ::teary_eyes::
