Case 64090R Questions
Evening Folks ,picked this little NKCA Club knife up 8,9 years ago. Have heard several ideas about the 000 on the front bolster, prototype? Etc .etc. Could any of you Case Folks tell me ,Was this knife put in production for NKCA or anyone. And what the heck is the 000 all about. I’m not a Fan of Case but have accumulated a bunch of them and will be selling any of the Post 1980 ones.So this will be for sale soon ,need to find out more about it first. Any help would be appreciated

I think that number represents a series ( e.g. #1 out of 500) for that particular knife type and year.

Re: Case 64090R Questions
Thank you for your response. The 000 only confuses me a bit because it’s not #1or #9 or ? It’s 000, and
Was told by seller at Badger knife show it’s a prototype?.Did find out NKCA kind of went away about then, so was also wondering if they actually made any for NKCA b4 they shut down. Want to give whoever buys it as much good info as possible ,thanks again and be safe out there

The NKCA did have an auction a year or so before they when defunct and sold a bunch of proposed club knives that did not pan out.Yours may be one of those. That being the case,it's probably worth half what it would be if it didn't have have NKCA on It.

That pattern is known as a Jr Scout, and was a regular production item. Yours my have some subtle features making it more special, in addition to the mystery 000 number.

Re: Case 64090R Questions
Thank you for your response. May never know the 000 on bolster thing. It is a very solid Case, better than some of the other models of Case in the same time frame.May list it on the Case or Scout thread for Sale or trade for a older Schrade or Camillus..Have a good evening
