Hello from W. New York
I would like to say hello to all, I am interested in knives of all kinds. I do not know much about knives other than they are probably the single greatest tool one could put in ones hand. I truly feel uncomfortable without at least one on my person, with that being said, I am not an "operator" or some bad ass. I have 4 knives currently, all of them very sharp, and all of them have been used in the service of the day. I don't own any that sit on a shelf in a case only to be looked at, all of mine work for a livin'. I hope to listen and learn so as too contribute when needed, with that I will say goodbye and wish all of you the remains of the day.

Hello wescobts;

Well We can work on that. The more you come back here the more you will like us. Your need for more knives will just grow with age.

Welcome to the forum!
While off duty I never leave the house without a pocketknife and at work while in uniform I carry a Spyerco rescue type folder at all times plus a Leatherman Surge with the extra screwdriver bits.
I tend to rotate the ones I carry off duty. Right now it s either a Kershaw Ken Onion Assisted and/or a Rough Rider 4 blade congress. Yes I said a Chinese made Rough Rider
I know I'm might receive hell over that one huh?
You can't get a better knife for $12 than that one I tell you.
And oh yeah, I have quite a few knives that I will never carry. Just eye candy.
