Winner - Winner and even if it's not in the form of a question we'll take it.

This a a GREAT game but i would like to suggest a rule: only one post per 12 hrs.
Makes people work a little more diligently than just posting name after name hoping to get lucky.
However this suggestion is up to the opening poster to decide.

Correct, your turn next stanwade.
The trademark EBRO comes from the Ebro River, the second largest river in Spain.
Alfred Williams speciality was selling knives to the US market, so his knives bore his name as well as the EBRO importer stamp.

OK folks;here is a nice little 4 blade senator pen with what are possibly real tortoise shell handles.I rubbed them briskly with a dry rag and could not detect any smell.Anyway, this knife company started just before 1900 and has six separate listings in Goins book. They are not only listed in Germany and the main USA office in New York City but also in two separate New England states.Supposedly they were still in business when Goins published that edition in 1986.Have at it!

The only reason I read this thread is to find out about all the knife mfrs that I have never heard of...
