Any idea who made this monster knife for Jack Knife Ben? 5 3/8 with iron bolsters and liners.

Re: The Napanoch Knife Company Napanoch N.Y.
Lately, I was fortunate enough to acquire a couple of Napanoch multi—tool knives...
The first one & the real prize is the complete № 8000A 9 piece set in the original leather pouch. The tools including the spear point blade share a jigged bone lockback handle. Each tool is stamped with the patent date 1/29/1907.

Just before buying that set, I picked up this № 602... an equal end wood handled, single blade folding jack that had tools that interlocked at the other end. Unfortunately the dealer didn't have any of the tools the originally came with the knife.

Great tool kits Ken, I love those Napanoch Tool kits,I have a Bone set like yours ,but the blade is snapped in half and the Napanoch fixed blade handle, also have a set but with an Ebony wood handle and push in tools,I am missing the can opener blade for this set. Also have an ink eraser in Ebony.

I have one with the ebony handle with only the spear blade. I think they are more rare than the bone set. I did have a nice bone one that I sold back a few years. The tools between the bone and ebony are not interchangeable. The ebony tools are way thicker where they fit into the handle. I think the ebony set was the original set made by Napanoch. I never found any tools for my ebony handle. Beautiful old tool sets.

Re: The Napanoch Knife Company Napanoch N.Y.
Yesterday I added this pocket knife to my collection. It's an Ulery U11, single blade, hawkbill pruner(?) pocket knife. This is the description that is in Goins. "ULERY NEW YORK USA. This marking was seen on an all-metal knife made on the Allen Cutlery Company patent. It was made by the Napanoch Knife Company about 1917-1919." It received a gentle cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

***** A VERY VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU goes out to Steve B., aka bladebuddy, for his thoughtfulness and generosity in giving me this knife. THANK YOU Steve.
