eBay Customer Service Telephone Number

Does anyone have a telephone number for eBay customer service where you can talk to a live person to resolve refund issues? I've jumped through all the online hoops just to end up at a dead end and the number they publish is also a dead end referring the caller back to the never ending loop of suggestions for online web pages which are nothing more than a series of dead ends.

To have them call you for "Refund Issues":

1. Go to eBay "Homepage".
2. At the top, click on "Help/Contact".
3.Click box that says "Returns-Refunds".
4. At the bottom of this page, click on the box that says "Need more Help/Contact Us".
5. Click on the box (again) that says "Returns/Refunds".
6. At the bottom there's a box that says "Have us call You".

Fill in your phone number, sit back and wait for the call. There's an "estimated" wait time listed for the call.

I tried both of those phone numbers and they just told me to check the web site. I thought there might be a "super secret" number that would cut through all the crap.

I printed this out and that will help me "git 'er done".

I dunno, have you been a long time user with a high feedback rating? Last time I contacted them (maybe six weeks ago) when I went to the contact page I got a message that I am "concierge" member and was instructed to leave my phone number and that they'd call me within an hour. Presto, in 45 minutes they called me and helped resolve my problem.

I've been a Member since: Apr 01, 1999, have 775 feedbacks, 100% positive. I've had less than a dozen problems during that time with all but one being resolved satisfactorily (my fault. Got scammed. Completed sale outside eBay. He got my money, I never got the knife)

I contacted eBay this afternoon via their online chat. I have to wait until Sept. 3rd and then eBay will step in if I still don't have my refund. (The guy swore he was a live person and not a Bot. )

I just had my first Ebay issue since I started in 2012.
I made a purchase but never got a shipping notice or reply from 3 contact attempts.
I used the help button on the app and it gave me a deadline date for resolution.
On deadline date I received an e-mail and an app notification that my money was being refunded. Overall, I was pleased how they handled it. I’ve never had to deal with a problem seller or a return so your mileage may vary.
